Nine months cycling around the Mediterranean in Spain, Morocco and Turkey.
During our tour of Turkey we took a week off the bikes for a sybaritic sailboat cruise along the Aegean coastline. These are a few photos of life aboard a traditional Turkish gulet.
Another trip with Bob on the Fridur II, 2 weeks in the spring of 2007 cruising the Abaco Islands in the northern Bahamas.

The fabulous new cathedral designed in 2005 by Skidmore Owings and Merrill and built of concrete, glass and timbers in downtown Oakland, California.

While visiting California in Spring 2009 I attended the Maker Faire, a highly inspiring convocation of inventors, hackers, cyber-artists and steam punks.
Kate and Steve spend 2 summer months touring the north and south islands of New Zealand in their hippy van.
